TITLE: Asset Manager

LOCATION: Woodland Hills, CA

JOB OVERVIEW:
Under the direction of a SVP - Investor Relations, a Project Manager will have primary responsibility for managing the acquisition of limited partnership interests in affordable housing developments on behalf of Alliant.  The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and reviewing all facets of the development.

 

Job Responsibilities:

The Asset Manager will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of approximately 50 Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties in accordance with Lower-Tier Partnership Agreements.

Responsibilities will include:

  •  Monitor portfolio of properties from Construction through Operational Stabilization.
  • Process requests for release of Equity, including disbursements funded through Construction Loan Draws.  Review to include general Construction issues, Title, Sources/Uses, Tax Credit Adjusters, and other documents required for processing.
  • Monitor and Analyze financial performance of properties in Portfolio.
  • Maintain property level database for portfolio of properties.
  • Review Tenant Files for Section 42 compliance.
  • Conduct Property Inspections and report findings.
  • Review and Approve Annual Audits, Tax Returns and Operating Budgets for each Property in Portfolio
  • Assist with property related litigation, loan workouts, settlements, etc.

Requirements:
Candidate must have familiarity with general principles of Real Estate (multi-family preferred), Operations and Analysis, Budgeting, Financial Reporting, Lending Practices, Property Management, general accounting, general contracts.  Strong Analytical and Excel skills required, as are excellent written and verbal communication skills.
